I originally created this page when I was in United Kingdom (UK). My first update was after the birth of my daughter Eylül, and my most recent update was after I started my own business. As I mentioned in the previous update, life doesn’t stand still, and experiences and thoughts change.
I have never liked defining myself with a single title or profession. What I do, what I am curious about, and what I focus on have all changed over time — and they still do. This page exists to give those who are meeting me for the first time a clear but modest frame, without going into unnecessary detail.
I was born in 1984. For many years, I wrote, produced, and shared content online under the nickname Venom. Professionally, I spent a long time working in banking and credit insurance, taking on roles ranging from commercial portfolio management and financial analysis to reporting, sales, and team management. That journey allowed me to closely observe not only numbers, but also the human behavior behind decisions.
My education followed a path shaped by finance and management. Completing my master’s degree abroad helped me develop a habit of thinking about economics, e-commerce, and changing consumer behavior during periods of crisis. I believe academic knowledge only becomes meaningful when it meets real-world experience.
In recent years, my focus has shifted toward building and simplifying. Entrepreneurship, digital projects, content creation, and business models genuinely interest me. Rather than big promises or polished presentations, I prefer small, functional systems that actually work. I value progress over perfection.
On this blog, you will find notes on economics and business, time, books, and everyday observations. Eskişehirspor also finds its place here from time to time — because some cities and teams teach you not only football, but also a deep sense of belonging. What I write does not claim absolute truth; it is better seen as a collection of thinking experiments.
Lately, I have been spending more time thinking about and working on entrepreneurship and business model development. Instead of chasing large-scale ideas, I am interested in sustainable, well-timed initiatives that grow step by step. I believe building a business is not just about courage, but also discipline, patience, and timing.
If you care more about the right questions than ready-made answers, you are probably in the right place.
